PBA News 2018: San Miguel Beermen cracked the Alaska Aces, 92-79, and bagged Game 1 of their Best-of-Five duel in the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Semifinals this Saturday at the MOA Arena. Four time PBA MVP Junemar Fajardo carried the Beermen storm with his 17 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals.

➤ Alex Cabagnot also added 15 buckets and 5 assists for the Beermen, while Renaldo Balkman managed to chip-in a double-double of 13 points and 11 caroms.
➤ Alaska big man Diamon Simpson led the defeated Aces with gargantuan 31 points, 24 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks while Vic Manuel dropped 16 points and 6 boards. Manuel’s 20 points-a-game streak was halted today (11 games total).
➤ SMB now leads the Milkmen 1-0 in their Semifinals battle. They will resume court hostilities on Monday July 16 at the Araneta Coliseum.
