PBA D-League News 2018: Che’Lu Bar and Grill Revellers took Game 1 as it subdued CEU Scorpions, 112-97, in the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup this Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena. Levi Hernandez powered the Revellers with his 24 points, while Jeff Viernes also added 21 markers and 6 assists.
Notes:
➤ Jay-R Taganas also dropped a double-double 12 rebounds and 11 assists despite scoring only 4 points for Che’Lu.
➤ The losing Scorpions were led by Judel Fuentes who made stellar 27 markers and 6 boards, while Jan Formento also added 17 points and 3 rebounds.
➤ Che’Lu and CEU will resume court hostilities for Game 2 this Thursday on August 2.
