PBA D-League News 2018: Go for Gold Scratchers halted Marinerong Pilipino TIP, 96-87, to snatch Game 1 in the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup Semifinals this Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena. Matt Salem starred for the Scratchers with his 24 points, while Jai Reyes also chipped-in 17 markers and 5 boards.
Notes:
➤ Abu Tratter carried the losing TIP with his 27 buckets and 5 boards, while Frankie Jackson also added 21 points and 10 dishes.
➤ Coach Charles Tiu of GFG was ejected from the game after incurring two technical fouls.
➤ Go for Gold and Marinerong Pilipino will duke it out once again on Thursday, August 2 for Game 2 of their Semis series.
