San Miguel rips Alaska in Game 2, 105-94

PBA News 2018: San Miguel Beermen ripped the Alaska Aces, 105-94, to lead 2-0 in their Semifinals series in the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup this Monday at the Araneta Coliseum. Import Renaldo Balkman led the Beermen once again with his 31 points, while “The Kraken” Junemar Fajardo also lifted SMB with 21 markers, 18 boards and 2 steals.
Notes:
➤ Diamon Simpson led the listless Aces with his 19 buckets, 15 caroms and 6 blocks, while Simon Enciso added 19 points as well. Vic Manuel once again fizzled and was relegated to only 15 points total.
➤ Alaska led by as much as 16 points in the second canto, 41-25, but failed to sustain their momentum as San Miguel fought back to snatch the game from the Aces.
➤ Alaska is missing the services of vital cogs Chris Banchero and Calvin Abueva
➤ The Beermen and the Milkmen will continue their Semis rivalry this coming Wednesday at the same venue.
