➤ Quincy Davis led Taiwan NT with 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Lu Cheng-Ju sniped with 4 of 8 treys to drop 13 markers before being limited by Gabe Norwood‘s defense. Center Tseng Wen Ting was a non-factor as he was saddled with early foul troubles.
➤ The Philippine Basketball Team is already assured of a spot in the second round of the qualifiers, but are battling for the first place in Group B standings. Taiwan, meanwhile, is in a precarious bottom position as Japan NT upset Australia earlier in the day.
